Get your work experience in China! In cooperation with Route2China, the Leading House ETH Zurich offers scholarships for internships from one to six months.
The internship scholarship programme is an instrument for encouraging Swiss students to gain work experience in China in order to learn about the different cultural and business aspects in this globally leading economy. The programme operated by the Leading House ETH Zurich together with Route2China is a mid-term incentive programme that offers a fully organized one to six months internship package togeher with a scholarship to support students' living expenses in China.
The internship scholarship programme is open to all disciplines, if a suitable internship placement can be found in the respective area. The preferred host companies are small, medium enterprises, as well as high-tech, innovative firms or start-ups. Applicants will be matched to an internship position and placed in the respective company by Route2China.
All Bachelor and Master students, currently registered at a Swiss institution (Swiss Federal Institutes of Technology, Cantonal Universities, Universities of Applied Sciences, and Universities of Teacher Education), are eligible to apply for the scholarship. The programme also accepts recent graduates from the above institutions (graduation within less than 12 months from the internship start). PhD and postdoctoral students as well as Chinese nationals are excluded from the programme.
The China internship scholarship programme accepts applications on a rolling base from 1 June 2018 until 31 July 2020. Applications should be submitted six months before the intended start of an internship to allow sufficient processing time, and will be evaluated on a rolling base. We can support an average of five scholarships per calendar year and will follow a first come first served policy.
