The Role

As a Junior Airline Negotiator you will actively work with US based airlines to ensure our customers benefit from the lowest possible fares while negotiating contract conditions. The role entails active on-site negotiations at airline headquarters and at regional EF sales offices. It also requires analytical ability, market research and frequent use of various communication channels, both internally and with your negotiation counterparts. Various project management tasks will also be a part of your day-to-day work. The position is located in Luzern, Switzerland and will require travel to the US and other international destinations.


In the fast-paced environment of EF Travel you will find that your exceptional organization and communication skills and your strong attention to detail are essential. Drawing on your time-management expertise, you are comfortable with various reports and computer systems while having a sense of ease in social settings. You are flexible as situations change frequently and proactive in how you identify problems and opportunities before they arise while you are called upon to manage multiple tasks. You thrive on the challenges of a deadline- driven environment and think nothing is impossible. You are self-motivated, analytical and committed to completing tasks within a deadline, while maintaining a positive outlook and remaining calm under pressure. We are looking for ambitious recently graduated candidates. Prior airline/travel industry experience is not required, however active interest in the industry is preferred. Successful candidates will be able to show how they have excelled in previous experiences, in school or in other engagements.
